La Dolce Vita--

In a nutshell,

1. FINALLY escaping from Sushi Rock. It was an okay job, but after four years, it gets a little unbearable. Got the job at J. Alexander’s, aka my FAVE restaurant (yay!) & my orientation starts Tuesday. As much as I wanted to try & keep both jobs, I’m glad they presented me with an ultimatum so that I can’t just run back to Sushi Rock if it gets a little too hard. I need to grow up & utilize what I’ve learned somewhere new. 

2. Gilby went back last Tuesday. =( I haven’t cried that much in a WHILE. I felt so bad, he tried to cheer me up during our last hours together, but I just couldn’t help but think about how I wouldn’t be waking up to see his face as I had during this short month that he was here to visit. It would mean we’d be going to go back to us talking on the phone/skyping for hours every day. I mean, don’t get me wrong—I love bonding through these means, but it wasn’t the same as having him right there next to me, having breakfast or watching some good ol’ Star Wars®, lols.

3. I have been transformed into a Gleek/Star Wars nerd. Thanks a lot, honey.

4. It’s been discussed, annnnd it’s looking quite certain that I will be moving some time in the near future.

(edit, 5. Ha, I already forgot… I can now say that I’m finally 21!)

Seeing as it appears that my dear friend Sarah is the only person that regularly reads my blogs, I’m going to go ahead & apologize now for this being the first time you’ll be hearing about this.
